Usually its good to rake up fallen leaves from the lawn. They will block out light and rot down possibly causing the grass to die.
Even though it's cold it's generally a very good time to tidy up the garden.
A lot of plants will have stopped growing and become dormant. If its not too frosty then most shrubs and
hedges can now be pruned and shaped. Also a very good time to prune Fruit trees and cut back.
